It's fun for me to continue to work with the little girl and see how she is transforming. She has become more ancient, and also has crow feet and hands in this painting. The checkerboard represents life-giving water. It is showing up a lot in my recent paintings. I'm sure you'll see more of it in the upcoming newsletters.
