I live in beautiful Bend, Oregon. I’m a city girl that happens to love nature as well. In my spare time I enjoy outdoor activities like kayaking, walking and hiking. I also love a good workout in the gym.
My most recent adventure is kayaking! It’s incredible to experience the beauty of central Oregon from the water.
Litter Free Bend
My pet peeve is litter. A couple years ago I started a campaign called “Litter Free Bend” in hopes of keeping the trash to a minimum. We are currently approximately 15 individuals picking up litter around Bend. All are welcome!
Bend Painting Parties
Bend Painting Parties are social painting events that bring people and painting together. They are fun, creative gatherings of up to 12 people. Each event is held in my art studio which is located downtown Bend overlooking Tin Pan Alley. Please check out the website if you’d like to join in the fun. more
I love making portraits of people’s animals. I am fortunate to say I have over 80 satisfied clients. If you are interested in having a portrait made of your special animal, please see the details about this on the Pet Portraits Page here.
I’ve won several awards over the years and I’m very proud of this. The world is filled with talented artists and to be selected for any award is an honor. Most recently, I was a recipient of the Benchmark Award from Art In The High Desert. This is a huge honor.
Humane Society of Central Oregon
In 2014-2015 I teamed up with the Humane Society of Central Oregon to paint a portrait of an animal chosen by HSCO that was having a hard time finding a home. The painting I made of each animal was given to the new guardian of the pet. The first painting I made was of Lennox, a feral kitten that unfortunately got stuck in an air conditioning vent. No worries – the HSCO rescued her, fostered her and found a good home for her.
